Pierce the Night was inspired at about 2am on Tuesday in February. My husband and I often sleep with the outside door of our bedroom slightly ajar even in the depths of winter. One bright moonlit night we were woken by an incredible sound. Groggily, we eventually realised there must be wolves howling across the river. The sound grew and intensified and continued for hours. Chris even got a sound clip of it. There's nothing so haunting as a pack of wolves calling each other. We lay there awake drinking up the experience of it. This 24x36" framed original oil painting is only a fraction of the awe we felt that night.
This Limited Edition Giclee Print is hand glossed by the artist with a UV coating for protection and to give each one complimentary brush strokes for a unique look.

All prices are for rolled canvases. I offer canvas stretching/mounting for those who are able to pick up locally. Please contact me at the time of ordering to arrange this.

Pierce the Night
All Canvases are printed with Epson UltraChrome HD Pigment ink technology and are hand glossed with a museum grade UV protective coating.
Epson's UlthraChrome HD Pigment inks have Permanence Ratings well in excess of 200 years when properly protected; the prints exhibit high resistance to atmospheric ozone; have very good water-resistance properties; and, the pigment images are extremely resistant to damage caused by storage or display in high-humidity environments.
Each is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Unless arranged with the artist, prints are rolled and shipped in mailing tubes.
To protect your investment, do not lean anything on it, keep it out of direct sunlight where possible and avoid humid areas.
